I find these days I like to warm up my inking skills before starting in on work pages...so I often lay some inks on pieces like this just to get the pen and brush singing in tune. I've never drawn Doctor Who before, which is strange since I've loved the show since childhood...so here's my favourite Doctor and assistant ever.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR - A SKELP IN THE EAR AND SOME GINGER BEER 'TIL NEXT NEW YEAR!
That was a traditional Scots New Year greeting...well it was if you grew up reading the Oor Wullie comic strip in Scotland.  The illo above is a panerl from the Richard III book I'm doing; I worked hard to keep the subtle expression I achieved when pencilling in the inks.
