FIVE STAR REVIEW ON AMAZON...

The book got it's first Customer Review on Amazon; five stars no less --

"A Master of the Noir Genre
By Rio on March 21, 2014
Format: Paperback Amazon Verified Purchase
I'm a fan of the Art World and more so of the Comic Book Art World. Growing up reading adventures like DOC SAVAGE, GREEN HORNET, THE SHADOW, and so many others I learned to love the Noir genre. I'm also a huge fan of the classic B&W films of the early years of film.
Rob Moran's work in this book captures the feel of the Bogart and Cagney era with such mastery! His art has captured the look and feel of those dames of that era with such a tight grip.
I'm no artist by any means but seeing this work in this magnificent book makes me want to learn to pick up a pencil and take a crack it!!
I encourage everyone to pick up a copy and enjoy it thoroughly like I am :-)

MY FIRST ART BOOK IS ON SALE NOW!!!

THE ART OF PULP

Airship 27 Productions is proud to announce the release of their first ever art book.  NOIRE – THE ART OF ROB MORAN  is a wonderful collection of stark black and white imagery showcasing the phenomenal work of one of today’s top graphic artist in the field of pulp literature.

Rob Moran is an award-winning illustrator/comic book artist/writer based in the UK.  As a writer he has created various comic titles and wrote a nationally syndicated American newspaper comic strip.  As an artist he has been a magazine illustrator, newspaper cartoonist, computer game designer and has created posters for the Scottish Opera.  As a graphic artist, he has been published in the UK, Europe and the USA with such companies as Marvel, Dark Horse, Image Comics, Silver Phoenix Entertainment, Classical comics, 2000 AD and many others.  His comic mini-series BLOOD NATION is currently being filmed as a major motion picture.

“We discovered Rob via Facebook,” explains Airship 27 Productions Managing Editor Ron Fortier.  “Immediately his love for the classic Noir movies of old jumped out at us with each wonderful piece he would post.”  Ultimately Airship 27 Productions recruited Moran to do the art for their book, PROHIBITION by writer Terrence McCauley; an old fashion gangster epic.  For his efforts Moran won the coveted Pulp Factory Award for Best Interior Illustrations.  In 2013, Moran did the art for BROTHER BONES – SIX DAYS OF THE DRAGON, his second assignment for Airship 27 Productions and is currently nominated for this work in both the Pulp Factory and New Pulp Awards.

“When the opportunity to showcase this amazing artist presented itself,” Fortier continues, “Art Director Rob Davis and I knew this was a book we had to do. We’ve published dozens of great artists over the past few years.  Rob Moran is clearly one of the best of these and this is a book we are damn proud of.”

NOIRE : THE ART OF ROB MORAN is an 8-1/2 X 11 black and white book.  It features over two dozens illustrations highlighting Hollywood’s silver screen killers, G-Men, Mobsters and Femme Fatales like you’ve never seen them before.

From Crystal Lake Publishing...

Here it is folks: the cover for Jasper Bark's upcoming novella. Please try to keep your food down.

Thanks to Rob Moran for bringing Consuela to life. Or death.

Stuck On You, believe it or not, can only be described as sick and twisted erotic horror. So if you want to read something along the lines of 50 Shades without being tormented by your peers, this is the book for you.

Ron Fortier's darkest creation returns!
When the souls of the innocent cry for justice,
One man hears their call:
Brother Bones
The Undead Avenger

Airship 27 Productions is thrilled to announce the release of the first ever, full length Brother Bones novel, SIX DAYS OF THE DRAGON, by Roman Leary.

He stalks the streets of Cape Noire, waging a never-ending war against the forces of darkness.
Bones has never met a foe he could not defeat, but now he faces an enemy unlike any he has ever known. With only a motley crew of unlikely allies – and his silver-plated twin .45s – Bones must stop an ancient evil that threatens not only Cape Noire, but the entire world.

Created by writer/editor, Ron Fortier nearly a decade ago, the Undead Avenger has appeared in over a half dozen pulp shorts collected in a previous volume; several comic book adventures and in audio recordings.  Since his inception, he has become one of the most popular heroes of the New Pulp movement.  Now Brother Bones is back to cut a swathe of destruction through his first full-length novel!

“Allowing another writer to handle Brother Bones was something I had never imagined,” explains Fortier, the Managing Editor of Airship 27 Production.  “Roman Leary is a talented writer and one of the biggest Brother Bones fans out there.  When he first approached me with idea of writing a Bones novel, I was naturally hesitant.”  Despite his reservations, Fortier let the idea gestate for several days before replying to the enthusiastic writer.  “I knew Roman loved the series and was familiar not only with Brother Bones but his supporting cast as well,” Fortier continues.  “So I took a chance and asked him to send me a detailed outline.”  What the character’s creator received was the plot to, SIX DAYS OF THE DRAGON.  “Roman won me over. The concept was true to the character but envisioned him in an exciting new adventure that was like nothing that had been done before.  I knew instantly Brother Bones fans would love this book.”

Writer Roman Leary and illustrator Rob Moran deliver the gun-blazing thrills in this epic tale of two-fisted action and spine-chilling horror!  “This is a rip-roaring ride through a macabre house of horrors,” says Charles Saunders, author of Imaro and Damballa.
